I am a freelance journalist and translator from Germany. 

As a journalist, I work for WDR (West German Broadcasting Station) and have published numerous articles and reports for local TV and radio, as well as a documentary. I have a strong interest in transatlantic relationships and immigration, and am passionate about topics that center on women's experiences.

In May 2025, I graduated with an MFA in Literary Translation from the University of Iowa. I translate poetry and prose, primarily from German, received my BA in Journalism, and am also pursuing an MA in Literary & Cultural Studies from TU Dortmund University.
